Historical and Genealogical Research

This page gives details of areas of Paul's research of particular interest.

Paul's family tree with photos is available at: http://paulorton.myheritage.com.  I have added photos of most people that I hold digitally, which I think brings the tree to life.  Please have a look and let me know if you have any corrections or suggestions.  I would particularly like to add any photos that you can send me.  Note that I may well hold more information on individuals than is displayed on this tree as I am limited to 2500 people and the tree is based on the one I stopped using a few years ago.

The following is a list of the documents I am working on.  Only documents marked as published are viewable.  I have divided my family tree research into five main sections- those for the families of my four grandparents (Orton, Tew, Hogley and Roberts), plus Ginette's (Rodgers) family.  Items about any people or families will be grouped under these headings.
